Dedicated to Animals

At Eastlake Village Veterinary Clinic, we’ve made a career out of compassion. Not only do we provide your pet with the best in medical treatment, we’re also actively involved in non-profit medical services. We support animal welfare groups, both locally and internationally.

Local Organizations

Dr. Ginny Bischel provides volunteer animal care to numerous animal shelters and pet rescue groups in Chula Vista. Through Eastlake Village Veterinary Clinic, she promotes local spay and neuter campaigns and assists with low-cost sterilization and other medical treatments. She’s also embraced fostering animals – those who need a temporary home until they can be placed in a fur-ever home.

Emails us at: [email protected] if you’re interested in fostering animals.

In addition, Dr. Bischel is an active public speaker and educator. She holds fundraisers and conducts community education seminars in an effort to raise awareness about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. A champion for animal rights, Dr. Bischel works hard to stop animal cruelty and to expose animal abuse in the illegal pet industry, both locally and abroad. Invite Dr. Bischel to speak at your next event.

Helping Animals World-Wide

Dr. Bischel is co-founder and president of the non-profit animal welfare group, Veterinarians for World Animal Health Inc (VWAH). VWAH’s team of volunteer veterinarians offers public awareness education plus free vaccinations, medications and surgical sterilization for stray animals worldwide. Dr. Bischel and her team have traveled to Greece, Mexico, Turkey, Romania, Barbados, Grenada and other countries where veterinary services are limited, providing desperately needed care. You can help Dr. Bischel’s efforts by donating to Veterinarians for World Animal Health. Your donation is tax-deductible and all funds go directly to animal care.
